Once placed on your scalp, there is no discernable netting to signal that the hair on your head is not the hair you were born with when choosing the color that matches your skin tone. So, how do you hide your real hair? i mean, my real hair is curly but i want to give it a big break. so i'd obviously want a curly wig but i saw that you add on the baby hair line (lol) but how does it go on your head and hide your real hair? i'm confused. A.) There are many ways to conceal your real hair. Personally, I cornrow my hair and wear a brown stocking cap over my braids. The unit can be attached with a glue adhesive or liner tape. We sell the tape, and we are working on getting a distributor to provide us with the glue adhesive. You cut the lace in the shape of your hairline and adhere it to your skin directly in front of your hairline. The hold should last about a week. You can also use either liquid bandage or a scalp protector to protect your skin if you are worried about the adhesive on your skin.
Customizing your Unit 1.) Browse through our catalog and pick the unit of your choice. If there is a product that you do not see in our photos, send us an email at requests@lovelylacewigs.com to place your request. 2.) Measure your head as described in our "Custom" section. 3.) Pick your base color and highlights (if desired) using our color chart, also found in our "Custom" section. 4.) Download and save our order form from the "Order Form" section. 5.) Fill out the order form, save, and attach to an email addressed to orders@lovelylacewigs.com. 6.) You will receive an invoice for the products ordered. Shipping is $35. Click on the link to "Google Checkout" on the invoice to pay. 7.) Your unit will begin to be processed upon receipt of your funds. 8.) Custom units currently take from 5-7 weeks to process plus shipping time. 9.) Follow the directions carefully that are included with your unit. If cared for properly, your unit can last up to a year or more. 10.) After attaching and styling, if you take a photo and release it for use on our site, we will send you a coupon to receive $10 off of your next wig purchase! 11.)
